Involving Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, 

you may be eligible for a CASH PAYMENT or other benefits under a class action settlement. 

A proposed $3,250,000 common fund Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit concerning a Security Incident perpetrated against one of Defendant Progressive Casualty Insurance Company’s (“Progressive”) third-party call center vendors. The Security Incident involved certain of the vendor’s employees delegating, without permission, their call center job duties to other individuals who were not employed by the vendor. As a result, certain personal information of Progressive customers who called the call center may have been viewed by the unauthorized individuals who were performing the job duties of the vendor’s employees. The personal information that was potentially visible to the unauthorized individuals may have included first and last names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, financial account numbers, routing numbers, financial institution names, and credit/debit card numbers and expiration dates. Plaintiffs allege that the Security Incident caused their personally identifiable information to be accessed without authorization, purportedly resulting in the invasion of Plaintiffs’ and Settlement Class Members’ privacy, among other alleged harms. Defendant denies all claims asserted against it in the Litigation, denies all allegations of wrongdoing and liability, and denies all material allegations of the Complaint. The Court has not found for or against Plaintiffs or Defendant.

The Settlement offers cash payments and credit monitoring services to Settlement Class Members. Settlement Class Members can claim the following Settlement Benefits:

1. Credit Monitoring and Insurance Services (“Credit Monitoring”): All Settlement Class Members are eligible to claim three (3) years of Credit Monitoring and Insurance Services.
    
2. In addition to credit monitoring, Settlement Class Members may select one of the two following benefits:
   1. Pro Rata Cash Award: Participating Settlement Class Members can elect to make a claim for a pro rata share of the Net Settlement Fund; or
   2. Compensation for Documented Losses: All Settlement Class Members may claim compensation for documented monetary losses up to a total of $5,000 per Settlement Class Member.

• The Court must give final approval to the Settlement before it takes effect, but has not yet done so. No payments will be made until after the Court gives final approval and any appeals are resolved.
